    GE Ed,

    The following paragraph wasn't complete:

By turning the Waters electronic keyer I found it quite easy to send
with my left hand, so when I built the "W7BBX Programmable keyer" I equipped it with a second key (manipulator) connector for the other
    hand

It should have said: "By turning the Waters electronic keyer upside-down"

    GE Ed,

In Windows it doesn't seem to matter which Alt-key you use.

Well Yes it sometime does. The past week I found out that the code
for the degree sign didn't stick when the right 'Gr' was pressed but pressing the left Gr key did.

The reason I wrote 'Gr' is that my right Alt-key is labeled AltGr.
The left Alt-key just says 'Alt'.

That seems to be the case for most keyboards except the US ones.

I looked them up in the PCDOS and OS/2 'Keyboards and Code Pages' manuals
    to be sure.
