    Can you call a .gif or .jpg file from outside the directory that the HTML script is located in. I have two differen programs that produce .gif images that I would like to call for my web site but the locations of the .gif files are in seperate directories. How can you deal with this problem with HTML?

    just create directory under your sbbs/web/html dir.. lets call it images..

    then to pul it you you would do this in your html

    <img src="/images/whaterver.gif" alt=0>
