I'm just a compulsive updated, first thing i do in the morning is :

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
    sudo apt-get autoremove
    sudo apt-get autoclean

and a sudo shutdown -r now

    if required.

My problem is that when I am on my laptop (like now), which runs linux, I
don't want to have to deal with the update and the bandwidth it takes up. It wouldn't work on cron either, as I shut it to sleep when I'm not using it. Unfortunately the majority of my day I am forced to use a windows 10 laptop (work laptop). Night time is when I get to thrive with my linux desktop,
    laptop and server.

Sorry about the off topic (Linux Discussion).

Your correct I had it set to local because it was QWK and not FTN style, I
was under an impression that the transfer would be affected. I have changed
all my DOVE-Net areas to Echomail.

Hopefully it will tag them now.
