    I disagree. I see it as skimming the group and processing it to "fit" FTN and storing at his local bbs for distribution elsewhere on FTN. Then the reverse.

    Unlike nntp, if the bot is not there, the group remains. If nntp goes away, the group goes away.

    The only difference is nntp and FTN are more similar than Telegram and FTN
