Ok, one of the features I half-link about MBSE is the fact that it autocreates message areas based on .NA files. But, that's just
it. The areas it creates MUST be in the .NA file in order for them
to be autocreated.
i don't know when this method started but synchronet was our first exposure to it... on the one hand it makes sense but on the other? nah...
I know Mystic as well as BBBS autocreate areas based on the echo
tag found in the header of each message as well.
mystic took both methods from requests and those requests were based on the users of other software asking for them...
I was wondering if this ability could be included in a future
version of MBSE? Would be nice if MBSE autocreated file echos as
well based on the ECHO tag in TIC files -- like Mystic does :)
auto message area creation originated with the likes of gecho, fastecho and others of that vintage...
auto file area creation originated with allfix...
