Hey, I heard a version of ALotBSoL the other day that ended with
contempory references (one was about being elderly) rather than the
record being available in the foyer...

Anyone know where this version came from?

I'm not sure about if I've got the right version of the song for your question, but Clint Black does a rendition of it. He does change the lyrics
on occasion to make a joke or get the audience going. He doesn't whistle as well as Eric Idle, though! ;)

There's a version in the movie "As Good As It Gets," but since I've
never been able to tolerate watching the movie for more than 5 minutes
I don't know if any lyrics were changed.
