read the echo as a private node or point?

I didn't know that many echoes were active! ;-) Seriously though, I
can relate. I've just plugged Mrs. Ball's mobile phone into a unix
box and I'm about to use free minutes to try a couple of numbers in
Region 11. Wish me luck! :-)
