• disabling questions to scan for new messages/files on login

From Khelair@TINFOIL to All on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 17:38:33
Is there any way to disable the login questions regarding whether or not to perform a new message/file scan? In the shell that I've _almost_ finally got implemented, the users that it's made for are _not_ going to want to fall into a scanning routine not using the one that I've written for my shell, nor the editors, and they won't be interested in the files. If they hit an aberrant keystroke they're going to end up in an environment they're unfamiliar with, and avoiding that is the whole purpose that I've written this shell.
Is there a simple thing that I've missed to disable these scans, or is this something where I'm going to have to modify login or logon.js in order to throw them straight into the shell if they've got that one selected?
    Thank you!

Yes, each user has that option in their default configuration.

You can set SCFG->System->New User Valuse->Default Toggle Options->Ask For ... to "No" and even override these flags (disable them) for your users in your login/logon scripts if you like.

    Oops. I should've checked there first. :P

    Outstanding. Thank you.
