    I just did a clean install of SBBS 3.18 and when I go to configure tickit with the javascript config program I get the following popup error

    Windows Script Host

    Script: F:\sbbs\exec\tickitcfg.js
    Line: 202
    Char: 1
    Error: Syntax Error
    Code: 800A03EA
    Source: Microsoft JScript compilation error

    I had no issues installing and setting up BinkIT .. anyone have ideas?

    The Synchronet JavaScript files, including tickitcfg.js, cannot be executed with Windows Scripting Host. Use jsexec to run it.

    Ok.. so I ran the script, it worked once.. I tried to run the script again to configure more options and now I get the following error. I have not made any modifications to any of the .js files. This is a bone stock default 3.18 install

    Tickitcfg.js produces a nice visual interface to your setup but you can edit the ctrl/tickit.ini with any editor. Here's a snipit of mine..

    [DAILYLIST]
    Dir=FIDO-NODELIST
    Handler=tickit/nodelist_handler.js
    HandlerArg={"domain":"fidonet", "match":"Z1DAILY.Z*", "nlmatch":"Z1DAILY.*"}

    [CH-WARE]
    Dir=FIDO-CH-WARE

    [FIDONEWS]
    Dir=FIDO-FIDONEWS

    [INFOPACK]
    Dir=FIDO=INFOPACK
    ForceReplace=true

    You might need a links line also if you want to forward those files on to other nodes with tic's.

    [OPENXP]
    Dir=FIDO-OPENXP
    Links=1:234/567

    Okay, I addressed that particular error, but I think that's an indicator that something is amiss with your ctrl/sbbsecho.ini file. Take a look at that file and maybe compare with the expected format/contents that you find documented at http://wiki.synchro.net/config:sbbsecho.ini
