The chatshell menu system sounds like a great idea, but where can I find the included js files that are needed to run the script like chateng.js?

    thank you

    Here:

    http://cvs.synchro.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/exec/load/

If you're not running a recent development build, then these files must be placed in your "exec" directory.

a note on cshell.js ... it's functional, but it's also kind of a work in process, and I'm changing some things around to make it work better.

that being said... i wouldnt mind some constructive feedback if/when you get it up and running

neither did I, but I've pretty much just got back into the game, all the new JS stuff and updated I've gotten out of CVS i put into the exec dir and I've seemed to not have any trouble, I though I was updated to ver 3.15 but it still says I am at 3.14.. I'll do some fooling around when I get time and see what I'm missing.

I committed a newer version of clock.js and cshell.js, try updating them and see if the problem occurs again. I'll narrow down the issue eventually ;)

I couldn't get it running either. I downloaded all the support files,
made sure they were in their right places.

it does look impressive, but if people dont want it as a command shell, but as a chat replacement, maybe we can have a way where people can switch back to the main comamnd shell.

bug reports are better late than never I suppose!

the userfile error occurs when the script exits abruptly before the userfile is defined. I'll add a quick fix for that.

there's an example in chateng.js on how to create just a simple chat program

I just happened to catch the discussion the other day and figured I'd
try it out. Glad I could help.
