Hello there. I'm actually new to BBSes, although I grew up during their peak in the 90's didn't have a computer until 2001. I watched the YouTube documentary about BBSes and had to find out. I think I was born in the wrong generation, I find the older stuff much more interesting.
Just wondering if there is any other hams that might be reading fido
from bay city... I am KD8NCV from bay city.

Glad to see that somebody still keeps an eye on this echo.
I've been thinking of throwing a stick on to this field to see if
anybody would pick it up. Hi

Same here, except I've got to get a new Windom (aka W0WO) up. The old one came down due to age.
Haven't worked much on 40m but I have worked ZL and VK on 80m.
Glad to see that somebody still keeps an eye on this echo.I'm still here too :) KG4CNA in Opp, AL.

I've been MIA for awhile too, but finally back to BBS'ing. Like to get back into Hammin' too, but in my postage stamp I call an apertment,
well, it's a bit difficult. Not to mention, the apartment is in an RF HOLE! Not even a Verizon signal here...

Yep it's the curse of HAM operating, having to keep working on
antenna that fail/fall down etc..

up again. Once done it would be fun to try and make some contacts on 20/40/80 meters for folks reading here.
