Sixth Spawn Released Today

Today, just over two hours ago, Mama Mbuna finally released spawn number
six, and she has begun eating again.
At this time, I am not certain how many fry were released. Thus far, I have only been able to observe one of them; and like some of its earlier
siblings, it is a golden yellow. However, going by previous observations, it will probably lose that coloration, and become more grayish-blue over the
next week or two.
I suspect that this spawn was not as large as I had originally anticipated;
and being as there are now fewer small crevices where the fry can hide --
since I redesigned the tank with fewer smaller rocks -- there may possibly
be a higher mortality rate as well. I will keep everyone informed regarding
the fry count.
