• Frozen blood worm

From Starfish@1:278/230 to All on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 21:56:00
    Hi
If frozen bloodworm has been melted and refrozen, can it introduce bacterial infections for the fish.

My LFS (as they call themselves) sold me some bloodworm (you know in the blister pack) but it looked like it was thawed out because there was frozen parts where it leaked out of the packaging.....

This could have given my precious fish internal bacterial infection.....

blood worms cannot be safely thawed and refrozen. The stuff goes bad very quickly.
