    I noticed some of you have a module installed to force the use of lond descriptions. Could someone tell me the name of the modul? I tried newscan.src but got this error message:

    SYNTAX ERROR, (EXPECTING INTEGER CONSTANT)
    newscan.src 5: extdesc

    using Win 32 version of SBBS and its Baja compiler.

    I don't know of any module that does specifically what you're asking, but as for newscan.src, some older Baja modules need to be updated for the Baja compiler that was released like 5 years ago. To fix the error you have
    posted, change EXTDESC to UM_EXTDESC. Other simple changes like this may also need to be made. UM_EXTDESC is defined in exec/sbbsdefs.inc.
