From Merlin@CARSO to All on Sunday, September 22, 2002 16:15:00
I've wwritten an app in baja and due to a typing error (!) have managed to delete the src file. Is there any way to decompile a bin file?

yep, people have cracked PcBoard's PPLC language,
but no one has ever cracked a baja exe.
wierd too, like the source code is free and all too.

Compiled baja modules aren't encrypted or protected in any way, so there is nothing to "crack".

Someone would just have to write a parser that converted the .BIN to a .SRC, a tedious job. :-(

ya, just have it do the reverse of a compile.
    ah, maybe a future mod?
I also have lost baja code before too.

Did it once, long ago. Worked perfect. But you have this bad habit of
adding more and more and MORE verbs to the language, so the utility was rapidly obsolete...

just update it, and make it open source like synchronet.
that will force people to make all baja addons open source too thou.
can to many programmers spoil the source code?
