    Is there any way to suppress the 8.3 filename and file size (thus listing only the letter shortcut and description) in a file listing? I looked at the text.dat file but could not readily locate the line responsible for the file_list line item's view.

    You'll need to do it in the source code itself as I do believe it's hard coded.

    Nope, sorry.

    could this be a reasonable request for your next 'release'. I dont know how much work would be involved, but for someone like me who is looking for more functionality than the built in text files section has to offer, the xfer section makes a good replacement.

    perhaps these two items could be added to the xfer config section... infact, i could live with the size appearing, but the 8.3 filename is just a nuissance most times, and users often over lok/misunderstand what the shortcut letter is for or how it is used.
