    Yes, I got one earlier this week that was supposedly from Italy that played some door games. Have had a few others that connect long enough to start the logon process before hanging up... I am guessing they are testing old hardware or something.

    They come in spurts, it seems. I'll go 2-3 months without a single dialup caller, then all of a sudden I'll get 5 new dialup users in a week.

    I lost dialup after the stupid telco did the copper line removal surgery. It would be like if a surgeon inverted my knob.

    There are a lot iof old system coming back up. I seen a large number of Commodore 64 computers being modernized. Some are hooking up their old modems and giving dial-up a try again.
