Is FidoQWK still able to be registered? I see there is a crack for it, but it doens't work and a bunch of serials which don't either. Does anyone have one that works or know how to register this thing?

FidoQWK has been dead for decades, unfortunately.

To the best of my knowledge, no. It cannot be registered.

    What is FidoQWK btw?

I have all the code to do Fido and QWK all sitting here. Do we need a free replacement? I probably wouldn't do a DOS version at this point but maybe a Linux and Win32?

It is a long abandoned package which converts between FTN packets and QWK/REP packets, allowing participation in QWK networks.

I would like to see those, and DOS & OS/2 as well if possible.

That sounds like a great idea. Andrew and I would like to put QWK networking into MBSE someday (emphasis on "someday").

It's basically a QWK->PKT / REP->PKT conversion utility for those systems that do not offer built in QWK networking functionality.
