    NETRUNNER telnet client has been updated with the best version yet!

    I've added some more polish and the upscaled engine is back, which provides a very accurate and high resolution ANSI-BBS experience.

    There is a Linux version too.

    I've only compiled a 32-bit version of it so far though, but I am working on getting a 64-bit Linux machine up to speed so I can change that.

    This means you'll likely need to compile your own 32-bit version of SDL2 assuming your package manager doesn't already have something available, if
    you are using 64-bit Linux.

    There would be an OSX version, but I don't have real hardware to compile it on.

    I'm running Slackware Linux 14.1 32-bit. Slackware does come with a version
    of SDL installed, but I am installing SDL2 (available via a third-party repository). I'll give Netrunner a spin. :)

    Netrunner worked like a charm. I just had to install SDL2 and set the executable with the executable flag and off it went. Thanks! The full
    screen mode looks kinda funky now but I'm using a 2008 vintage ASUS EeePC
    900 for my main personal computer right now and that 7" screen ain't what
    it's all cracked up to be. :D

    Scratch what I said earlier. There is now a 64-bit native Linux version on www.mysticbbs.com :)

    Make sure you are using beta 11 netrunner binary and netrunner.ini. I had a typo in 10 and it might have "upscaling" on. Upscaling is amazing, but its much slower, and if you are running it on a lower resolution it could look terrible (it needs a window size of at least 1280x960).

    ALT+ENTER will cycle through resolutions that are a 1:1 ratio to DOS, until
    it eventually goes full screen. Currently it stretches to fit full screen,
    so you may have some slight change regardless which might be way you are seeing.

    I may make an option to letterbox the sides too, in order to keep it 1:1 always, even when full screen, but initial feedback liked it stretched like
    it is.

    Anyway NetRunner is the closest you're going to get right now to a "DOS on a CRT monitor" type experience! Thanks for checking it out! :)
