How's Mystic with running DOS doors under Linux? I have a successful setup here with MBSE and the latest DOSemu from Github. I'm trying to keep track
of these things for people who ask in here.

Something was changed in the github version that has bad results with DOS doors. I haven't pinpointed anything yet, but I think it may have something to do with the virtual com port and actually getting it to work from a BBS, as the
games can be executed straight from the DOS prompt. I have reverted to the previous version. 1.4.0.8-1 in the Arch repo, and have put a block on installing the new github version at this point.

Otherwise 1.4.0.8-1 runs the games flawlessly, and is pretty easy to setup in Mystic using the whatsnew and/or linux_install.txt.

    HTH

    Regards,
    Nick

Mystic runs dos doors fine. Whether or not the door will work is another
story. I have had some success but not as much as I'd like.

    Ttyl :-),
