    Hello everybody.

I was reading about the new MacOS, Mojave, and it seems that it will
not be compatible with 32-bit applications.

That is going to be a big issue for me, as all the tools I have (binkp,
crashmail, golded and multimail) are 32-bit...

Does anyone have any news regarding these tools? Will I have to recompile everything when time comes?

Mojave is going to be the last MacOS to support 32-bit applications, so
you've got one more generation before support is dropped.

But this is just support in the host OS. Nothing stops you from runnig a
guest operating system in a VM on your machine running an older MacOS (or
even something completely different, like Linux) and run your 32 bit apps there.

i don't use crashmail or multimail but my binkd and golded are both compiled 64bit with no problem... if you have the sources, compiling them 64bit should just work... hopefully they are using the proper variable definitions so that 32bit vars are still 32bit in the 64bit compile... that was a problem someone ran into with another package...
