• InterBBS Gaming?

From Jon Watson@1:134/703 to All on Friday, August 06, 2004 13:37:15
    Heya!

Can someome explain...or point me in the direction of a FAQ for... InterBBS gaming?

I want to participate in interBBS leagues, I have regd LoRD and Planets for starters, but I'm not sure whatI need to do.

I belong to several message nets and I have file echoes so I suspect that I have all the requisite pieces, I just don't know the specifics.

    Here's what I assume....

I send score files every now and again to whomever is hosting the league. The somehow merge them all together and send them back to me...true? False?
    Close?

I know I can get all the tiny details from whomever is going to host the
    Leagu
I end up joining, but I'd like to bring something to the party so I'm not a total burden.

    Thanks!

You'd have better response in DOORGAMES or BBS_CARNIVAL, I'd think. IBBS stuff
isn't really too hard, just like setting up a mini mail network.

    Heya!

    hi

Can someome explain...or point me in the direction of a FAQ for... InterBBS gaming?

    nope

I want to participate in interBBS leagues, I have regd LoRD and Planets for starters, but I'm not sure whatI need to do.

I run a ibbs league called League 10, info pack at ftp://time.darktech.org/League10.zip it a qwk \ ftn league

I belong to several message nets and I have file echoes so I suspect that I have all the requisite pieces, I just don't know the specifics.

    ok

    Here's what I assume....

    ok

I send score files every now and again to whomever is hosting the league.

sort-of to you hub who sent them to his hub and then it goes back

The somehow merge them all together and send them back to me...true? False? Close?

    yep

I know I can get all the tiny details from whomever is going to host the Leagu
I end up joining, but I'd like to bring something to the party so I'm not a total burden.

in my league, your be welcome & not burden, I have the same questions ask,
all the time, I don't to the ftn side (yet) just the qwk side
