    Hello

I receive the following error when I include the binkd.txt file in my binkd.cfg. It then proceeds to try and call my own system. Any information you could provide would be appreciated.

got M_BSY: No AKAs in common domains or all AKAs are busy

    Thanks,

    Gary

What binkd.cfg file did you start with? The one I found (I think it was Janis') worked like a charm once I had changed the paths to fit my system. Then
I made a few other changes, but only after I could see that it all worked as expected.

To an absolute binkd dummy like me, that sounds like you've missed the "domain" setting. Some of the experts here will probably call me wrong.

Just out of curiosity, how did you create your binkd.txt? I use a special perl script ("Copyright (c) 2002, 2003, 2007 by Jerry Schwartz and Write by Night"), but I guess there are other options available?

I started with the binkd.cfg that came with FidoIP and like you made some changes.

I have the domain keyword and aliases defined along with my address line. Everything works until I include the binkd.txt nodelist file. Instead of calling my uplink it tries to call my own system. Once I remove the file include everything works fine. Very strange.

Interesting, do you know where I can find the script online?

    Thanks,

By now you've probably seen my offering from my BBS?

I notice that you seem to be running a linux system, so maybe you don't have
any use for my BAT files, but at least the PL file should work for you?

For anyone looking for the most recent binkd configuration file where you only need to fill in the blanks and uncomment things you want, I've made it available from here, as it has been asked for prior.

    https://pharcyde.org/files/binkd.conf-dist

(If the secure http doesn't work, just use http, I haven't tested it, so this will be the test!)

Thanks for the link and the file. Http worked.

    Greetings All!

Ok so in my previous message I thought perhaps the issue was that my second bbs is on 24555 instead of standard port. I have dialed it down to nodelist vs binkp.net. In my binkd config if I have the include binknodelist enabled then I can poll my mystic system from the point, if I comment out the nodelist and use root-domain binkp.net I can poll sbbs and not my mystic system? This is crazy and I cannot for the life of me figure out what this issue is, has anyone ran into this before? They are both properly in the nodelist so I assume properly on binkp.net?

    Your opinions and help appreciated.
