damm i miss my ums / pint / crashmail / crashtick it was stable and intuitive while i had it
Amibinkd does not care about poll files with hexadecimal names.
Instead, this is the way to do it:
[...]
The file 2.203.0.0. flo will be deleted after every poll and this
has to be created again for the next poll to work properly.
So rudy has hard coded it to use "Amiga Style Outbound" (ASO).
This option is also present in the normal binkd sample config
files.
This goes back to the day's of when the amiga range of FTN
software was first developed.

So why don't you use crashmail, it can perfectly work qico and it
seems to be very stable and low maintnance on a system I have running.

IIRC, it was one of the first mailer platforms to use LFNs, too ;)
