• BT vs. BT/XE

From Mvan Le to ALL on Thursday, August 24, 2006 19:40:00
    Hello :)

Would anybody know off the top of their head the differences between BinkleyTerm and those BinkleyTerm/XE's (eXtended Editions) ?

I've tried looking/reading for a Changes or History file a while back, but I remember seeing a lot of confusing and/or irrelevant stuff ...

... ARRRRRGGGHHH!!!! ... Tension breaker, had to be done.

Not off hand... I used to one of the OS/2 XE versions; don't recall offhand which one, but I think I still have the archive around...
Haven't used it myself since I switched to Linux, though I do plan to
again on my Mac laptop... (when I can find the time to work on it...<g>)

Isn't there a Unix version of BT ?

I believe so, yes; at least, so far as I know, the 'linux' version of XE
could also be compiled on a Unix system given the proper tools...

    Hello, Mvan...

Look for a file called XE_USER.DOC. I have a copy here, but you aren't a listed
sysop so I didn't want to just dump it in somebody's inbound.
