    Hi Joe,

Can I run Binkley without a nodelist??

Yes, but only for a POINT configuration, not a standard node.

Where can I find a compiler for Bink...

Bink will use ANY V6 or V7 Nodelist, so any compiler for your platform will do the job.

and Um what cfg file do I need when I go to compile it...
I don't want Bink for sending mail I just want it to answer
the phone and pass the caller over to dialuptotelnet.exe

That really depends on HOW you want the call to be passed on and what platform you are using. I think more details would be nice.

If it helps, back in the early 1990's, I used Bink on an OS/2 system to dial into a unix system and using the BASH shell, script its way through file transfers using Zmodem, so with a little bit of thinking, quite a lot is possible.

    Cheers............pk.

Sure. Enable the BossPhone and BossPwd keywords in Binkley.Cfg.

find a compiler for Bink... and Um what cfg file do I

You mean a nodelist compiler ? - I use FastLst (32 bit) to make V7 nodelists. It's fully functional shareware; 'feel sorry for the author though, because I never intend to register.

If you mean a C/C++ compiler I think gcc will suffice for the BinkleyTerm source. There should be compile documentation in a README or Makefile somewhere.

Dunno. I've never used dialuptotelnet. If dialuptotelnet is a Win32 executable I don't think it will hold DTR when the comport's passed from BinkleyTerm unless it works like WinFossil.

I don't think Alberto is accepting new registrations anyway. At least he
isn't with BMT Micro any longer.
