    Hi Mike,

    Bink 2.50.DOS EE-D has been running for days now and never 'once' tried to dial a HOLD node, wonder what's eating Bink 2.60 original not to work here.

    I never had bink call any hold nodes period. I at one time hubbed for my old net and had some points as well.

    That is strange, but it does remind me that I've had strange behavior and lockups from Bink before that were cured by re-extracting the EXEs from the distribution archive again. Like my missing DOC file...that too is run across the network from a shared drive and is entitled to hiccup once in a while during 15 years of around-the-clock execution.<g>

    Study those docs for the event flags' behavior in the "enhanced" flavors, because that is an area where the follow-on authors tend to monkey around a bit.

    I don't know what it could be Gord, It's kinna weird, because it never did
    this behavior before, (call HOLD node's). It started it right after I setup my BBS on my network, and the BBS runs now on a workstation. Thanks for the offer of your old setup, but for now I'm going to stay running 2.50 EE-D, It's working. :)

    Me too, I hubbed almost 90+ nodes here in Calgary at one time. :)

    Yep, For sure a fresh install may work. My BBS has just went through a LARGE change, the BBS is pure MS-DOS 6.22, It's now hooked into my network, and now the BBS is on a workstation and mail processing is done on a network drive and the server also works on mail processing. That's when the problem started.

    Well Bink 2.50 EE-D is working fine, so for now I'm just going to let things be, if it ant broke don't fix it. :)
