Hope all is well over there, Ronald ;) It looks like Fall is trying to make an
appearance here. I'm in Slaterville Springs, NY, about 10 minutes outside Ithaca NY.

    Take care,

I bet.. It must be a trip waiting for Nov. to get here for the end of Hurricane
    season.

Once in while we'll see what forecasters call the tail of a hurricane up here..
Lots of wind and rain, lightening, etc, but I'm sure not like you folks see :(

We do get tornados in this general area but so far nothing near where we are living.

    Take care,
    Janis

It does add a little flavor to your life. Most people keep a stash of food and water, enough to take care of their families for 3 - 4 days, and some way to cook it, during the hurricane season.

My inside joke is that if the earth would end, it would take the people of South Louisiana a while to notice. We'll just keep on going like we do for a hurricane.
