That's interesting. I've hit data limits with my phone
plan before, not fun. But never with my internet service.
I'm honestly not sure what my plan has, other than it's
not unlimited.
I failed to mention that the service I am referring to is my data
service with luckymobile.ca Hence, data and internet are the same
thing. The promotion is "Unlimited Data..", *but* they throttle
down after the original quota.
For the most part, Telegram (and thus modest access to the gated
echos), checking email, and operating a few apps (weather), work
reasonably fine at the 110Kbps speed.
The web-point session with Veleno BBS does take a noticeably longer
time to load though.
I made significant improvement in not wasting data when I
incorporated a script-killer plugin 2 months ago, and only using the
mobile doorway when checking Facebook for PMs.
But this month, I wasted too much data reviewing a handful of YT
videos for my Thinkpad T60 repair.
I do however have a DSL internet service (different company) at my
shop that us truly unlimited (no cap) and no throttling.
