    Longest lunar eclipse in 600 YEARS due overnight

    Around 97% of the moon will disappear into the Earth?s shadow overnight this Thursday, November 18 to Friday due to a lunar eclipse. (ZmeScience)

    It will last almost three hours and 30 minutes which makes it the longest in centuries.

    According to reports, it will be visible in many parts of the world including North and South America and eastern Australia.

    Annoyingly no, where I was ended up cloudy :(

    But in the North Island I gear there were good views of it.

    Have you ever seen a lunar eclipse happening? I only remember
    ever getting to see just just one around 1990. The resultant
    colour of orangey/amber is interesting.
