    Hi All...

The puzzle consists of a 100-page prose narrative with its pages arranged in the wrong order. [...] To solve the puzzle, the reader must determine the correct order of the pages and also the names of the murderers and victims within the story. The story's text includes a large number of quotations, references, puns, Spoonerisms and other word games. The pages can be arranged in 9.33?10157 (factorial of 100) possible combinations, but there is only one correct order. The solution to the puzzle has never been made public.

Caution: NOT for ebook readers! ;) The physical format is the ONLY way to go for this challenge.. and you could even be tempted to rip out the pages to but the story in chronological order.

Definitely not for me. I just don't have the patience for that sort of thing.

Definitely not for me. I just don't have the patience for
    that sort of thing.

Just looking at that thing is bonkers. Each PAGE is hard enough
to decypher, let alone putting them in the right order!

But there is a monetary prize $350USD to fund unbound.com
    projects. Contest ends in Nov/Dec'22

BTW.. unbound.com seems like an interesting "publishing"
    initiative.

I suppose you're not a puzzle guy in general?

Not even this cool thing? It's a jigsaw puzzle that only
provides clues as you put it together. But there is no clue as
to what the puzzle looks like.

I brought in this particular one to see what it's like:

    https://bookmanager.com/tbm/ ?q=h.tviewer&using_sb=status&qsb=keyword&qse=ld4DDtkH237vY4TOH5
    mNiQ

Meanwhile.. I learned that there are a few more "stories" in
    this style.

Back to book-style mysteries, I like the 5-minute types that
reveal all the clues in a short story, and it's up to the
    reader to figure out who-dun-it.

    You're correct.

I do enjoy puzzles that have practical application. Tactical Decision Exercises for example. Programming too.
