    Hello

I don't mean to divert your attention from virtual domains and what have
    we but ..

On ICQ there's a feature that allows users to send SMS messages to the
mobile phones of users worldwide. I cannot help thinking this would be
a good feature for what WINS is aimed at. I could see users of a WINS
system entering their SMS/email adress upon signup - and thus giving
other users the ability to reach them via SMS from a WINS system.

    Kind regards

    Henrik Graversen

This is very easy to do with wcBASIC, in fact, you can see a short text
message to my cell phone number via email.

Anyway, you need to have a SMS server to send the "data." Once you have
that, the rest is easy and can be done with any change to WINS via wcBASIC.
It all depends on the service you connect to.

My service provided email to the phone. You can also use a link on their web site which I took the code from and hardcoded my information directly into
    my site. Check http://www.dlois.com/status/
