    Absolutely NOTHING, and currently if you own the original you ARE permitted
    to make copies for your own personal use. This is true for software, music,
    or even books and magazines. As long as you aren't sharing the copies with others, you aren't breaking the law.

    There are a few cases where license agreements may forbid you from making back-up copies, but that falls under breach of contract, not under copyright infringement.
