• Rusty Johnson

From Tim Whitson@1:105/500 to All on Sunday, December 18, 2022 12:36:23
Has anyone had any contact with Rusty Johnson from JNS Software. As part of my free collection of door games I'd like to offer his games with the generic BBSFiles.com keys. I think his are some of the best layed out card games available.

Nope...but I remember someone, somewhere saying they had gigs of
cracks, hacks, codegens and whatnot...you might want to scour the BBS
ads and see if you can come up with anything or the bbs discussion
    groups on various networks.

just go ahead and do it if the keys still work. some bbsfiles keys expire i've been told.

the bbsfiles.com siterip is on vert.synchro.net

it's an older one and some keys he kept to himself. the ones where he
would charge or make expiring keys.

i got it from a guy that was hosting for him for a while.

no, such a thing does not exist for bbses.

we have those dinkcrack packs, and we have a few personal registrations
that have been in the wild.

well did you put it together yet? it's just the same old stuff.
also archive.org and cd.textfiles.com has eliminated the need for a bbs file database.

I am working on it, it's quite a bit of work. I'm putting them online, games and code generator together, trying to make it easier to use. I'm putting it on my website at bbs.foolsquarter.com. Visit if you want, if you don't need it then don't. I'm thinking it's going to take a while to get it all put on and organized.

oh yeah looks like it's difficult that way.

why don't you just get a free torrent tracker site software and do it that way. that way people that download the files can help everyone else get the files.

there's this commercial one that's easy to use too

I expect the list will be updated and changed as more programs and
keygens become available, not making it suitable for torrent, unless
you want to have to keep publishing it.

git might be better place so you can then just git pull and update as
    and when.

I don't mean the list and i dont mean use one torrent for everything.
    1 torrent for each archive.

Not in years. I will look at my old stuff where I registered all his JNS doors and see if I can find some contact info.

I am working on it still. There is some different stuff. I am still
gathering files and codes up. I'm trying to contact door authors too.
I've gotten ahold of one and he is going to look for his code
    generators.

One big change I need to do to it is alphabetize the list. There are
over a 100 games available so far.
