This guy, KV4P, designed a little VHF radio that you can connect and
affix to an Android device, controlling it from an app. It can decode
and send APRS messages as well as do voice so far. It's very much in
the works and just at the beginning. His website is kv4p.com and should have a link to his "quick start" page from there. Someone already made
a Windows app for it. I would love to see a console/text/cli APRS messaging client that works with it (for Linux or whatever).
