I might have asked before, but anyone here played
    Gaslands before? :-)

    One of my favorite games!!!

I don't remember seeing this question posted anywhere.

Which sort of game is it? Is it a board game?

A miniatures game that uses Hot Wheels & Matchbox cars. It's
an alternate world (post apoc) where Mars was colonized and
    nuked the Earth. :-)

It's very fast paced and very loose and fun!!! And modeling
the vehicles is cool too - putting guns on them, making them
    look post apoc - Mad Max-ish :-)

    Ok, a wargame then :-P

I will look into it out of curiosity. I have not been into wargames for quite a long time.

I guess it's technically a war game, but it's more akin to the old
    Car Wars game...

When I think "war game" I think skirmish, little figures of troops, etc. This is cars only, but it does play on a 'table' with terrain and such...

Yeah, it's a fun side hobby - making the cars. :-)

My wife is not a gamer at all, but she will play the
    occasional game of Gaslands. :)

She will also play Codenames, Ticke to Ride and Catan,
IF i means spending time with our sons. :-)
