I am not a sabremetrician, but I know one or two SABR members, and I know our baseball beat writers here in St. Louis.

I work at a newspaper. In fact, one of the SABR members I had in mind just died two days ago. I'm sure he would have been interested to learn about your idea once it was fully fleshed out.
