The origin of the Debate echo is 2:203/2 and is not under
the thumb of Janis Kracht and her puppy Ross Cassell.

I am the official moderator of the Debate echo, and you
are welcome to continue participating in this forum.
Nobody is banned, or even suspended, from reading/posting
messages.

You are free as anybody else to be a pretender to the
throne, by abusing an elist or echolist in order to make
a false claim of being "moderator". You know, as well as
everybody else (including Ross Cassell), that no private
elist has any official status in fidonet. So please do
feel free to keep elisting your name on as many elists
as you can find. They are all quite meaningless to me.

I have written several emails to you, inquiring as to
your continued interest in this echo. You chose to remain
AWOL, which is your choice.

And now you come back here telling, not asking, me to leave?

The same applies to Ben Ritchey's private elisting.
And to all other private elistings.

No private elisting has any official status in fidonet.
And for good reason. The current elisting/echolisting
that is being used/misused is terribly inaccurate, and
is a form of censorship.

You have no basis to make demands that I leave.
You have no basis to make demands that Tim Richardson leaves.
You have no basis to make demands that anybody else leaves.

a real say in who is, and is not, allowed to have and
maintain an echo in fidonet.

If you want to be a monkey for Ross Cassell, go ahead.
Nobody is stopping you. Least of all me. Make yourself
dictator of as many echoes as Ross Cassell will allow
you to have. Doesn't that make you feel like a big man?

I do not need Ross Cassell's permission for anything.
Not in this world. Or the next (if there is one).

Anyone Fido sysop can have their own echo. I invite you to describe how you share moderator and echotag listing and distribute the echo without an echolist.
