    After checking firewall and a lot of setups even the online controller I
    found that Microsoft Outlook does not or is not compatible with a rss news feed that requires a name and password, thus the error on credentials for
    me has been solved.

    I use Windows 7 and also a problem with but wait a few windows posts and a download of Windows Essentials that gave me Live Mail Outlooks replacement
    and viola there it was the ability to use a name and password and use the news.lbts-fl.email url, im in, im happy and never surprised at anything Microsoft screw up anymore.

    The string I use fails and yes lbts-news is the conference name

    AHH NNTP is great, but how about RSS!
