    I got an email from Tobias saying that he's giving away free keys now and has been for a few years. He's on vacation for a week, so I'll be using this "generated" one until I get a legit one from him.

    Why not ask if he is willing to release the source? I doubt there will ever been any future development and it would be nice to see someone pick it up.
