The only differences between the nodes is that league10 only uses a session password via binkp and fidonet uses session and packet
passwords. Also, I wasn't sure what to do with the security settings
for fidonet. It had worked at zero, but all of the fidonet areas need
at least 150, so I just gave it sysop access.
Let me know if you guys can think of anything for me to try.
Ok, I've got League10's message areas working just fine, but not
fidonet. Here are my directory settings for irex and fastecho:

Remove the packet password from Irex and put it in your Fastecho mail tosser instead.
I don't understand the packet password in Irex,
but the packet
password for Fidonet mail bundles goes in the tosser. I had this
happen to me the first time I set up Irex for Fidonet. :)

Frank

The only thing I spotted there was a mis-match with the semaphore directories. I don't know if that's significant in the long term, or even if it relates to the present situation.

The security settings are only relevant to how you want the echoes to be shared with other nodes and points. Bob's ought to be the highest as he is your uplink. Any other nodes' levels can be set at anything you like (at a lower level), and match the levels set for -each- echo in the manager. You would end up with a situation where Bob is the only who can send new echoes to you, whereas other nodes and points can send & receive mail only.
Let me know if you guys can think of anything for me to try.
Can we have a look at just one of the Fidonet echoes configured in the manager, please Marty?
Cheers,
Paul.

Did any of that info help? I'll gladly supply more. The echo and
netmail are definitely coming to me, but fastecho just isn't tossing
them into their message areas. Even for this I have to use Lord
Time's system...

You are replying to yourself? Also not quoting your original message to yourself? LOL! :)
