Believe it or not, I do think that maybe Rob Swindell, the author
of Synchronet, may have had a bit to do with it
I doubt it. I've been on Scott ever since he hinted at
putting out the source years ago. I just re-reminded
him for about the 20th time a week or two ago, and now
he's released it.
It's about damned time Scott released the source to Max and Squish. Believe it or not, I do think that maybe Rob Swindell, the author of Synchronet, may have had a bit to do with it: he and Scott both work
for the same company (as Rob has mentioned before). Maybe Scott
finally saw how much people liked his stuff and has now allowed to
move on and perhaps finally be updated. :)
I doubt it. I've been on Scott ever since he hinted at putting out the sour years ago. I just re-reminded him for about the 20th time a week or two ago and now he's released it.
Well, with you on his butt, I'm sure that your dogged
determination finally caused him to have a mental breakdown and
release the source.
are you skilled enough to program in C?
Or are you just gonna spend your time waxing your big ol' Caddy? <G>
Maybe the Squish support in EleBBS will be fixed then. It sort of works, bu not quit correct.
Well, the '53 Fleetwood -does- take about a week to wash it, so...
<chuckle> (For those that don't understand that last part... I just purchas a classic 4-Door 1953 Cadillac Fleetwood, which is 4415lbs and 18' long.)
I doubt it. I've been on Scott ever since he hinted at
putting out the source years ago. I just re-reminded
him for about the 20th time a week or two ago, and now

Thanks for reminding him..... I hope it isn't too late to interest the folks towards porting Maximus to Linux. With MBSE and Husky projects already existing, well.... Ok, so Husky could use a BBS to go with
it....
Take care.....

I got on Maartin about that years ago-he kinda just blew me off about
it. And he wonders why I never bothered to try EleBBS. ;)
Did you have any problems with Nexus' Squish support? I don't run Squish, so it's hard for me to test it thoroughly.
And it can't pass up a single gas station either
When you gonna post a pic of that big beaut on your website for us
old car affectionados?
