    Hello All!

Hi folks! I was wondering what compiler I need to use to compile TimEd for Windows NT/2K/XP/2K3? I see that there is an NT directory in the source tree but I cannot seem to get OpenWatcom to compile the source.

    Peace,
    Robert

Hmm, MSVC? I dunno... I can't C at all. Especially without my glasses. :)

    Later,

Why not pick up the y2k fixes for the DOS or the DOS/386 versions then apply the patch and away you go.

    Tim110.Zip DOS Version
    Tim110P.Zip OS2 Version
    Tim110X.Zip DOS/386 Version
    Artfix09.Zip Y2K Patch

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

We are a fine board trying to make it better.

You need CygWin to compile the current release but (like many others) I use the
original DOS/386 version under Win2K. The release has been patched for Y2K but
    is otherwise 'pur laine'.

You'll be able to get more information in ARTWARE.

I don't think Gerard van Essen (the original author) ever completed the NT code
    - or at least as far as I can tell, the NT source code he made publically available was not finished. It is possible to compile a version using Cygwin but there are some problems with the Cygwin port that I never had the time and patience to sort out. I use the UNIX port under FreeBSD without any major problems. See the ARTWARE echo for more information. http://fidonet.sensationcontent.com/echomail/artware for the echomail archive.
