    Hello All!

On the fido hub I have just taken over is there a way for me to easily delete mail packed for a node that no longer exists?

rmLinkMail.pl removes netmail, echomail and files of the specified link taking all the necessary information from fidoconfig. You may select what not to delete.

rmLink.pl unsubscribes the specified link from all echos and file echos, removes netmail, echomail and files intended for the link taking all the necessary information from fidoconfig and comments out or deletes the lines of the link definition.

    See https://github.com/huskyproject/util/blob/master/README.md

This is an external utility. It is not necessary to collect the HPT in any particular way for it to work.

    Have a nice night.

SeparateBundles mode is really not supported and you use it since it says so. Then you cannot use the application, sorry.

What are the pros and cons of running separateBundles? The docs do not really give it a good rundown.

IIRC mail bundles are put in a seperate directory for each node. Like:

    04d2162e.flo
    04d2162e.sep/00120034.su0
    04d2162e.sep/00120034.su1
    04d2162e.sep/00120034.mo0

So if you don't have a delete tool, it's easier to delete mail for a node manually.

I've never used this myself, so I didn't support this feature in util. For the same reason, I can hardly state all the pros and cons. But the intention to use SeparateBundles is clear: when the echomail is in a separate directory for each link, it is easier to find and delete it if necessary.
