you running with a very old kernel with secureity bugs, upgrade to 4.9

    with gentoo as Janus did

I know but it is the gentoo source there not will do its update update right by by command emerge --oneshot portage, there said I have to use SHH5 and must use 6 or 7 for it.

    what ?

    emerge --sync
    emerge --autounmask --autounmask-write sys-kernel/gentoo-sources
    etc-update
    emerge -av sys-kernel/gentoo-sources
    emerge -a --depclean

    so far so good ?

is make.conf missing symlink USE flag ?

    if no

    zcat /proc/config.gz >/usr/src/linux/.config

    nice ?

    you miss genkernel ?

    emerge sys-kernel/genkernel

    last step

    genkernel --oldconfig all
    grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

all there is left is to reboot

All that is I knowing but it is automask there not will unmask some files so they 4-5 files it say is masked so the it either update them to be updated from
    v5 to v6 or v7.
It too has to be the same on my node 2:230/152 now too where it was v6 but lates should v7 in the portage so it now . So it is just the files in portage make it be updated to v6 or v7.
So I not have to make files like python to work by v6 or v7 from portage to not
    must do it unmask manual.

    Take care

It have been that it have said the 4-5 files is masked wit EAPI 6 or EAPI 7 and
that my system is EAPI 5 and must update to either EAPI 6 or 7, but when I triet it with the auto unmask the files to get my portage up to EAPI 6 or 7 it would not do it.

It is that I need to get the portage to be umasked in reason that the emerge say I am using EAPI 5 and that potage and 5 files is masked with EAPI 6 and 7, and then I trying all auto unmask command it do not working.

you will need to make more verbose logs from what you see as a problem to get more usefull helps here, we are offtopic and if in fidonet you like to get more
help go to linux echomail, if you need gentoo help go to bugs.gentoo.org and provide emerge --info --verbose there in a ticket

all from me here, i give up on missing info
