It certainly isn't any version that I'm aware of. Nothing about it in the echo or at the MakeNL project site that I can find, certainly not by me nor can
I find anything done by any of the other members of the team.

There is code for version 3.2.9a in the repository, but to my knowledge that has not been made into an archive for distribution... (I kinda got sidetracked
by RL (tm), or I would have done that already if someone else didn't do it...)

BTW. Is STN (Sysop's TechNet) now to send out 2-3 weekly files in area STN_OLIST, at 2 types of a pointlist.
A poinlist made as a Fakenet list file made by makenl and a Boss format type pointlist made by both linux and dosemu dos program for it. Those types of
files is it that all RC can ask nodes for point to they like to be added into. More of this in the STN admin echoes on how types of regions segment have be named for the 2 type formats.

Yes, that was another problem with the file, that it's not using an 8.3 filename...

Yes, it is STILL important to maintain 8X3 file naming convention.. While there are a lot of us that can handle more, there are a good number of people who's software can't...

I know I've done it by mistake once and a while, but we've all got to watch that.

Janis, did you have a chance to take care of that? Don't think I've seen
    it come through...

Argh.. no doubt a victim of the flu that Ron and I had shortly after your post :( I'll pick it up now and get it hatched right after dinner :)

Thanks for the heads-up Jame :) Good timing as well, Ward ran into some problems with the old DOS version and may be ready to give MakeNL_NG a try.

    Take care,
    Janis

but found by reading docs that 8.8.8.8 is google dns public ns1 :)

    Public?

yes, google has 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. as public dns servers if you do not want to use your connection's dns servers... level3 also has some available... i had
a list of them at one time... but i settled on using either level3 or google...
especially after my ISP got stupid and not returning lookup failures but instead redirection to search pages... lotta good that does for email servers looking up domains to send email to... they don't understand http redirection crap and surely don't have a clue what a search page is all about...

    Hi Janis!

I propose that the v3.2.9a archive, when available, be hatched out as a >>>>> replacement for that mn329lsrc.zip archive ....

Janis, did you have a chance to take care of that? Don't think I've seen
    it come through...

Saw your post about it over in the MakeNL echo, & saw the file announcement about it from my 1:120/544 system. So that's looking good.

Step by step, the new MakeNL takes over the world... (Or something...<g>)
