Hiya DM...
I switched mailers to binkd. I was running IRex using .MSG. I changed all the settigns in echocfg to use FLO style mailer and it's creating PKT's just fine. My issue is with outgoing netmail. sbbsecho is still creating *.MSG and putting it in the foler I have specified. I thought it was supposed to create a NNNNnnnn.*ut file within a PKT and the *.MSG was needed or created. Any suggestions?
You need to change your sbbsecho command line. We use "-linf" for
FIDOOUT and "-belsry!" for FIDOIN. I forget which one it is that tells sbbsecho to do FLO format but without it, it does MSG format. I
remember that there is a list of sbbsecho command parameters but I'm
still wiped out from the session last night.

I realize you addressed this to DM, but it does in fact create a .msg
in your netmail directory at first. When FIDOOUT runs, or you run
sbbsecho to export netmail, it will (or should) change to a .cut file
and go into your mailer's outbound directory. When it gets sent off, it will rename it to a .pkt.

As I said in the previous message, I forgot all about the -F switch for outgoing using FLO. Made the change and guess what... it's still creating .MSG format and putting it into the outbound directory, where it should be cause that's where I told it to go. I even went as far as updating sbbsecho off the cvs... still not creating the .?ut packets. I know it's stomething stupid and my brain is half fried... lol.
Off the top of my head, without looking at the config setup, I seem to recall a place where you tell it that you are using BSO in addition to changing the import and export commands. I may be wrong and it may be another mailer I was using at one time, but have a look.
