ROUTE-TO 1:261/38 1:ALL 3:ALL 4:ALL
ROUTE-TO 2:203/0 2: ALL
I don't know if it's a typeo, the all after the 2: has a space...
And Bill... I don't know if this will help... BUT... I have been at
this soooooo long I forgot where I picked it up...
I always put the exceptions first followed by regular... If that was my route file...
ROUTE-TO 2:203/0 2:ALL
ROUTE-TO 1:261/38 Bla Bla Bla...
Listen, I have done this for years... might have started it using crap software... more than like that was/is the case and more than likely
has nothing to do with anying...
I also trurn clockwise 3 times before I sit down when I write/rewrite
my route file and that seems to work for me as well.

Hiya gang,,,
As many know from my last few posts, I switched to binkd as my mailer
and had to change sbbsecho to a FLO style tosser. In the config I
have:
ROUTE-TO 1:261/38 1:ALL 3:ALL 4:ALL
ROUTE-TO 2:203/0 2: ALL
Today I noticed a netmail destined for a z2 address being routed
through
1:261/38 rather than 2:203/0.
Have I done something wrong?
Double check your config. Those lines should be ROUTE_TO with an underscore, rather than a hyphen. Also, I'm not sure if it was just a message typo or not, but there shouldn't be a space between 2: and ALL.
It should be 2:ALL.

BTW, did you get my netmail?
i dunno... which system did you address it to?
seriously, though... there are at least six that i may write from... if you try to write a netmail reply to one of my posts, it'll likely be addressed to the system i wrote from... there's three nodes here and
two points plus another couple that i've started visiting and
recently...

I'll be looking at it more this weekend. As soon as I figure out how binkd uses the nodelist I'll just crash direct,
Binkd doesn't use the raw nodelist, but someone compiles a
binkd-readable nodelist (I-BINKD file echo?). You can basically just
add a line your binkd.conf:
include /path/to/i-binkd/BINKD.TXT
Then subscribe to that file echo, and make the path match. As soon as
the next one arrives in that directory, binkd should automatically
restart due to a config file change (if using the "-C" option).

Actually the version of Binkd I am running is supposed to be able to
use the nodlist. It uses perl hooks. I dont know if anyone has got it actually running yet though..
Then subscribe to that file echo, and make the path match. As soon as the next one arrives in that directory, binkd should automatically restart due to a config file change (if using the "-C" option).
It stops my mailer dead every time. I used to do it automatically via event, and I use the -C option, along with Mark's batch file. I dont
know why it thinks the config has changed, as it has not. Only the
file that it points to has changed.
