OK, seems as if you and Paul have an issue with the z21 nodes. Make sure you have your z21 listed in the binkd.cfg under ADDRESS. Also, one other thing. In the cfg, where you have DOMAIN and the path to the folders... I tihnk I sent you over one with all "1's" at the end. Change that to "3" less quotes and delete OUTBOUND.003. Your regular outbound will now be for Z3 and a new OUTBOUND.001 will be created.

OK... seems as if this connection worked. When it created the fidoin.now file, did sbbsecho toss the pkt? Look at your sbbsecho.log file to see. Compare date/time.

I am assuming you got the binkd.txt file for the list of nodes? Robert should be able to send you that weekly. If not, let me know and I will.

what don't you understand? either you are not presenting your Z3
address as being in the fidonet domain OR he has a limited number of connection slots open to allow connections and they're all filled... i don't, however, understand why he is not presenting his Z3 fidonet
address that you are calling... i just polled his address and i see
five Z3 addresses, one Z46 address, one Z21 address, one Z39 address
    and four Z24 addresses

Read my answer to him.. I configured his cfg file and forgot to change the 1 to 3 after the outbound folder.

    Hi Mark,

Ian is trying to call my Mystic powered fsxNet HUB (Zone 21) that runs
a binkp server on port 24556. That's why he does not see what you do as you are polling the Agency HUB on port 24554 running BinkD.

In the case Ian quoted he was trying to present a Fidonet aka (my HUB
aka 3:770/1 - yipes!) to the Mystic HUB - It only deals with Zone 21 systems so hence it said 'no deal' :)

Paul, that shouldn't matter as long as he's polling you on 24556 and presenting his z21 aka, it should accept it. I know Ian has his z21 aka in his cfg. You use the same INA for both zones. Here is what his log says..

It's known Ian has z21 aka in his binkd cfg. Do you have any BSY flags (00010073.BSY) on your end?

See if Ian wants to join SportNet as well... :) May really want to get things crazy on his end... ;)

**** Ian, if you're reading this, open a command prompt window, change to your binkd folder and type:

    binkd -c binkd.cfg -p 21:1/100

    See what happens...
