I have a problem with new users who will just slam through the new user me and eventually end up at the password prompt filled with nothingness becau they didn't read anything. And then of course, they try to enter a passwor the passwords don't match and so they get disconnected.
from slamming through the new user application because they were too lazy wait for my BBS to detect their terminal emulation. It takes a few seconds my board to detect their terminal emulation and I think they get impatient start slapping the heck out of their ENTER key.
Maybe a small script to flush the buffer?Good idea. I could try that.
